About Zameer Abedin

About The Provider

Zameer Abedin, MD, is a dual board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. Based in Grand Junction, CO, he is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care to improve the quality of life for his patients.

His clinical interests include atrial fibrillation, premature ventricular contractions, ventricular tachycardia, conduction system pacing, leadless pacemakers, and a wide range of implantable cardiac rhythm devices. Dr. Abedin has a particular passion for performing ablations—procedures that, while often complex, offer a meaningful opportunity to significantly improve patients’ symptoms and well-being.

Dr. Abedin is a lifelong learner, continually exploring the latest advancements in cardiac electrophysiology to offer the most effective and innovative care. Equally important to him is learning about the people he treats—understanding their goals, preferences, and needs to tailor treatments accordingly. He believes that the best outcomes are achieved when medical expertise and patient values come together in partnership.

“We are a team, and when it comes to the care of your heart rhythm disorder, my job is to give you the most complete and up-to-date information you need to make decisions about your care.“

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Abedin enjoys discovering new people and places, always seeking new perspectives and a deeper understanding—both in medicine and in life. He is often found exploring the outdoors, mountain biking and skiing, with his two young children.
