Zachary Nelson, DO

Zachary Nelson, DO is a family medicine physician at Intermountain Health's Cassia Hospital in Burley, Idaho. He enjoys caring for patients of every age — from children to grandparents — and finds the most meaning in seeing whole families under his care. 

His clinical interests include pediatric care, family medicine across generations, and caring for older adults. Guided by the belief that each day should leave the world a little better, he approaches every visit with the goal of doing some good for the people in front of him.

An Idaho native who grew up in Ucon, Dr. Nelson is a lifelong basketball fan — and a devoted Duke fan. Outside the clinic, he stays active with recreational sports, spends time with his family, gardens, takes on the occasional building project, and is involved in his church and community.
