Zachary Miers, NP

Zachary Miers is a neonatology nurse practitioner (NP) at Primary Children’s Hospital in Lehi and Salt Lake City, Utah. He supports newborns and their families in the NICU, specializing in the care of high-risk, premature, and critically ill newborns. He is passionate about caring for these little patients because they demand a high level of dedication, innovation, and collaboration, which he finds deeply rewarding. In particular, he has a strong interest in caring for infants with congenital heart disease, as advances in early diagnosis and treatment are allowing these children to live healthier, longer lives than ever before.

Zachary has additional expertise in neonatal resuscitation, advanced diagnostics and interventions, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex neonatal conditions and optimize outcomes.

As a caregiver, Zachary is committed to providing holistic, family-centered, and evidence-based care for infants from birth. He believes in empowering parents with the knowledge and confidence they need to independently care for their child after discharge from the NICU. I specialize in the care of high-risk, premature, and critically ill newborns in the NICU.

Outside the clinic, the Virginia native enjoys hiking, biking, and swimming. He loves going on new adventures and spending time caring for his growing houseplant collection.
