William Beninati, MD

William Beninati, MD is the Clinical Shared Services Associate and Virtual Hospital Chief Medical Officer at Intermountain Health. Dr. Beninati's primary clinical interest is projecting critical care support as close to the time and location of injury or illness onset as possible — prehospital in the community, in rural and community hospitals, and at critical care units in advanced hospitals — through telecritical care and critical care transport. His research interests involve applying computer vision and machine learning to patient safety and care.

Dr. Beninati is from Upstate New York. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor sports.
