About The Provider
Weston Googins is a speech-language pathologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia, or swallowing disorders. Having lived in several cities across the United States, including Houston, Chicago, and Atlanta, Weston brings a diverse perspective and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Before pursuing a career in healthcare, Weston worked in marketing, where he developed a passion for communication and human connection. Seeking a more direct and meaningful way to serve others, he transitioned to speech-language pathology and developed a particular interest in dysphagia care. He earned his master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arizona and completed his clinical fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida, where he received extensive training in assessing and treating swallowing disorders.
Weston works with pediatric and adult patients and is dedicated to helping individuals eat, drink, and enjoy meals safely and comfortably. His approach combines evidence-based practice with individualized treatment plans to improve function, independence, and quality of life.
Outside of work, Weston enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Together, they enjoy hiking, playing board games, playing tennis, and exploring the many outdoor activities and farmers’ markets throughout the St. George area.
