Vanessa Gepielago Monsalud, NP

Vanessa Monsalud is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) based in Las Vegas, Nevada, with over 11 years of experience in acute care, serving both Veterans and community members. Currently practicing in urgent care, she brings a strong foundation in clinical judgment, compassionate care, and patient advocacy to every patient encounter.

She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing—Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Vanessa’s background has allowed her to care for individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments, instilling in her a deep appreciation for listening intently, acting with empathy, and treating the whole person—not just the condition.

Vanessa’s approach to care is collaborative and patient-centered. She believes in building trust through open, honest communication and ensuring that patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their health journey. Whether helping patients manage chronic conditions or navigate new diagnoses, she provides clear, evidence-based guidance and ongoing support.

She is an avid theme park enthusiast but also enjoys watching thought-provoking documentaries, reading fictional novels to unwind, exploring diverse culinary scenes—both in Las Vegas and while traveling—and, most importantly, spending quality time with her family.
