About The Provider
Tyson Winder is a residency-trained and board-specialty orthopedic physical therapist at Intermountain Health's Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation - Hurricane Clinic. He supports patients in Hurricane and surrounding communities, teaching and engaging with patients and helping them move and exercise as they learn to treat themselves! Tyson was raised in Hurricane Utah and is excited to give back to the community that gave him so much.
Tyson's passion for physical therapy began during a business internship at a PT clinic while simultaneously undergoing physical therapy for a knee injury. This unique experience allowed him to observe firsthand how skilled clinicians work closely with patients to restore function and help them achieve their goals.
His ultimate mission is to help his patients recover so well that he essentially works himself out of a job. He enjoys treating various conditions and working with individuals of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds.
Tyson is married to a wonderful wife and is a proud father of two young daughters. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing soccer and basketball, woodworking, welding, and perfecting the art of smoking meats. An outdoor enthusiast, he takes every opportunity to enjoy nature whenever time allows.
