Dr. Fieldsted grew up in Orem, UT, and following high school, went on a Spanish-speaking mission to Morristown, New Jersey. He then attended Brigham Young University where he majored in Exercise Science. Following his undergraduate studies, he spent 2 years working as a Personal Trainer and Health Coach; he saw first hand the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and became interested in preventative medicine. His interest in medicine intensified with several health complications in family members. He attended Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Residency training at the Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Provo. He served as Chief Resident during his final year of Residency. Medical interests: Dr. Fieldsted loves the opportunity that family medicine provides to care for multi-generations of family members. He loves caring for individuals of all walks of life; newborns to geriatrics. Special interests include keeping individuals healthy through preventative medicine, management of chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, pediatric care, dermatologic procedures, and musculoskeletal medicine. Family: Dr. Fieldsted is married to his best friend Carolyn; he and his wife have 3 children. They currently reside in Lehi, UT.
