About The Provider
Originally from Loveland, Colorado, Dr. Milligan earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathy from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine Arizona. Most recently, Dr. Milligan completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from The University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio. Dr. Milligan’s clinical interests include the non-operative management of musculoskeletal and neurological issues. These include joint and muscle injuries, spinal cord injury, post-stroke care, spasticity management, post-amputation management, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis.
“I work with my patients to maximize their functional abilities and quality of life. This is done through a team approach utilizing physical, occupational and speech therapy as well as rehab nursing as the cornerstone and supplementing with lifestyle changes, medications, injections and procedures. I strive to find and fix the cause of the problem instead of just treating symptoms.”
When not working, Dr. Milligan enjoys riding bikes, eating dark chocolate, reading and listening to podcasts.
