Terence McAllister, MD

Terence McAllister, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Badura Clinic Pediatrics in Las Vegas, dedicated to helping children and families thrive through compassionate, individualized care. With a deep commitment to understanding each child’s unique strengths and challenges, Dr. McAllister works closely with families to support healthy development and long-term well-being.

Dr. McAllister has a special interest in caring for neurodivergent children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder. He is drawn to working with these patients and their families because of the unique challenges they face and the wide range of strengths, talents, and perspectives they bring. He is passionate about helping children reach their full potential by recognizing their individual needs and providing thoughtful, personalized care.

His clinical interests include autism, ADHD, child abuse prevention and intervention, foster care, and trauma-informed care. As both a pediatrician and an adoptive foster parent, Dr. McAllister brings personal insight into the challenges children and families face. These experiences have strengthened his commitment to advocating for vulnerable children and ensuring they receive the care, support, and resources they need to succeed.

Dr. McAllister’s philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that every child is a unique individual with distinct strengths and challenges. Before entering civilian practice, Dr. McAllister proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Major. His military service shaped his dedication to service, leadership, and compassionate patient care.

Outside the office, Dr. McAllister enjoys spending time with his family, whether exploring the outdoors or gathering around the table for board games. He is also an avid birdwatcher and enjoys attending theater performances, fine dining, and the occasional poker game. His commitment to family, service, and community continues to shape both his personal life and his approach to caring for children and their families.
