Dr. Terence Rhodes is the Senior Medical Director for Oncology for the Desert Region at Intermountain Health. With a robust background in medical oncology, Dr. Rhodes is dedicated to advancing quality patient care.
Dr. Rhodes earned his MD and PhD from West Virginia University School of Medicine and the National Cancer Institute, where he specialized in Immunology, Microbiology, and Cell Biology. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at WVU/Charleston Area Medical Center and his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Duke University Medical Center.
His extensive training laid the foundation for his expertise in immuno-oncology and precision medicine. He has previously served as the Director of Immuno-Oncology and the Associate Director of Medical Oncology for Intermountain Health.
Dr. Rhodes is passionate about scientific research and patient care, striving to make medicine better and deliver excellent care to as many people as possible. His vision includes advocating for providers and caregivers, ensuring clinical excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
