About The Provider
Taylor Drake is a physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician based in St. George, UT. His clinical interests include electrodiagnostics (NCS/EMG), performing arts medicine, inpatient rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, amputation management, and prosthetics.
A native of South Jordan, UT, Dr. Drake earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson and served as chief resident during his PM&R residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. His approach to care goes beyond physical recovery—he believes true rehabilitation is about restoring identity, purpose, and confidence.
Dr. Drake combines medical expertise with a genuine curiosity about who his patients are beyond their diagnoses. Many of his patients have experienced significant, life-changing events, and he finds deep fulfillment in collaborating with them to design individualized rehabilitation plans that address not only physical needs but also emotional and social aspects of healing. His goal is to create a supportive, empathetic environment where patients feel heard and empowered to pursue their goals and passions.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Drake enjoys music (French horn, piano, guitar, and ukulele), astronomy, herpetology, hiking, and canyoneering.
