Dr. Wayment enjoys working in primary care to help patients of all ages address the complex interaction of mental and physical challenges. Dr. Wayment was born and raised in western Weber County, Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and neuroscience at Weber State University, where he previously studied medical laboratory science, music, and child/family studies. He completed his master’s and doctoral training at Midwestern University, in Glendale, Arizona, before completing an APA-accredited internship with Goerge Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, and a post-doctoral residency in integrated health psychology with Providence Health and Services in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Wayment and his wife have four children and enjoy outdoors and traveling. Dr. Wayment also enjoys cooking and golfing but spends most of his free time supporting his children’s hobbies and interests.

MHI treatment is a short-term approach to help manage mental health symptoms that impact quality of life. During treatment, the clinic team communicates with each other to make sure you and your family are getting the care they need. If additional support is needed at the end of treatment with this provider, we will assist with a referral to a long-term mental health provider. Patients needing mental health support who do not have a primary care physician at one of the clinics listed below may contact the Behavioral Health Navigation Line (833-442-2211) for help scheduling with another provider.
