Dr. Tawnya L. Bowles, MD, FACS is a fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist who specializes in surgery for melanoma, advanced skin cancers including Merkel cell carcinomas, abdominal sarcomas, and other rare cancers of the abdomen and intestines. Her research interests include prevention of melanoma and developing novel treatments for patients with advanced melanoma, including those whose melanoma has spread to the lymph nodes or to the skin. Dr. Bowles is the key investigator on multiple clinical studies for melanoma patients. Dr. Bowles believes in personalizing treatment for each patient and delivering outstanding clinical and surgical care.

Dr. Tawnya Bowles is very nice, and friendly. She is knowledgeable, and care about her patient a great deal. She spend time to answer patient’s questions. When I got diagnosed with my problem I could not ask for any Dr better than her. She saved my life and many other patients. THANK YOU DR BOWLES!

Dr. Bowles was, hands down, the best doctor and the very best experience I've ever had with a doctor in my life. She was patient and caring, and very warm, while also being immensely intelligent and attentive to all of my questions. She set my mind at ease about my condition immediately, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone, should they need a doctor of her specialty and expertise.

Dr. Bowles took as much time as was required to explain my melanoma skin cancer, the surgery she would be doing, and the procedures I would be following to have a full recovery with no complications. She was the most compassionate, professional doctor that has ever treated me. Her knowledge of Melanoma cancer and how to treat it was exceptional.
