Tammy R. Ellis, LCSW

Tammy Ellis is an AASECT‑certified sex therapist at Intermountain Health’s Bountiful Clinic – Psychiatry and Counseling in Bountiful, Utah. She supports patients in North Salt Lake and across Davis County, helping individuals and couples address concerns such as low sexual desire, sexual pain, unwanted pornography use, and related mental health conditions, including anxiety and depression.

Tammy completed her clinical training in sex therapy through the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is passionate about promoting sexual health through therapy, psychoeducation, and empowerment, helping patients clarify and live in alignment with their personal values.

Her approach is grounded in evidence‑based care and includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness‑Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Outside work, she enjoys agility with her dog, paddleboarding, and cooking.
