About The Provider
Susan is originally from New York but has called Colorado her home for the last 22 years. She earned an undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition and Food from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in Blacksburg and a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. As a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist, Susan is passionate about helping people see the connection between health and their lifestyle.
“I am not the food police. I am here to partner with each patient to help them reach their health goals. I provide evidence-based medicine so that each patient is able to make informed decisions about their health.”
Susan’s 82-year-old mom has lived with her and her husband for the last seventeen years. A mom of two daughters herself, Susan enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family.

I recently decided to get a insulin pump and she was more than helpful with making me feel comfortable with the choice I made. She was very informative and made sure that I was thoroughly taught how to use it and made sure all my questions were answered and left feeling better about my choice of using a pump.
