Susan Harp, NP

Susan Harp is a nurse practitioner (NP) working with the family medicine team at Intermountain Health’s Bear River Clinic in Tremonton, Utah. She supports patients in Tremonton, Mendon, Brigham City, and surrounding communities promoting wellness and educating patients regarding acute and chronic illnesses. Susan is passionate about involving patients and their families in all aspects of their care, by treating them as partners in creating wellness plans. She recognizes that each patient is a complex individual with unique circumstances, preferences, and beliefs that must be considered for optimal care.

As a caregiver, her philosophy of care is simple — be kind. She recognizes that many people deal with unseen struggles and believes extending understanding can help lighten their day. Susan wants her patients to know that it's important to her that the people she treats feel heard, understood, and valued. She strives to tailor care to meet a patient's specific physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, rather than using a generic method.

Outside the clinic, the Lewiston, Montana native enjoys spending time with her grandsons, baking gardening, and rewatching Seinfeld. Susan is the mother of four and grandmother to three grandsons. She’s excited to be closer to family in Tremonton and enjoys visiting her other children in British Columbia and Florida.
