Sujata Kaushal, MD

Sujata Kaushal, MD, is a hospitalist at Intermountain Health's McKay-Dee Hospital and Layton Hospital. As a hospitalist, Dr. Kaushal cares for patients throughout their hospital stay. She coordinates treatment, manages medications, and works with specialists, nurses, and patients’ primary care providers to keep their care connected. She's in the hospital every day — listening, answering questions, and making sure patients understand their plan of care from admission through discharge.

At the hospital, Dr. Kaushal brings experience from practicing medicine in Colorado before moving to Utah. She is glad to serve patients and families in the community she calls home.

Dr. Kaushal spent much of her childhood in the Southeast and Midwest. She also spent time in India, where her family is from. Growing up in these different places gave her an appreciation for people from many backgrounds and walks of life. She and her family have lived in Ogden for many years and are proud to be part of the community.
