About The Provider
Steven Mock, NP, provides family medicine care to patients in Billings, Montana. He is especially drawn to situations where he can deliver rapid, meaningful impact—relieving discomfort, effectively managing symptoms, and equipping patients with clear, practical guidance so they can return to their daily lives feeling better, reassured, and in control. Steven is energized by care that makes an immediate difference, whether that means resolving a symptom, calming a concern, or helping someone confidently navigate a health decision.
“My care philosophy is focused on treating the whole person with genuine compassion while delivering prompt, thorough care. I prioritize clear communication, education, and shared decision-making to ensure patients feel fully informed, supported, and empowered, particularly when facing uncertainty.”
Steven has been involved in healthcare since 1990, beginning his career as a paramedic before serving as an emergency room nurse and later joining the walk-in clinic. These roles shaped his approach to care, reinforcing the importance of timely, effective treatment and its profound impact on patients’ lives. He also values the human side of medicine and enjoys hearing patients’ life stories, believing there is much to learn from one another.
Outside of work, Steven enjoys motorcycle riding, hiking, camping, skiing, and fishing with his wife and five children. He also loves tackling hands-on DIY projects—from working on cars and motorcycles to home improvement—anything that keeps him learning and engaged.
