Stella Y. Chou, MD

Specialties: Ophthalmology and Aesthetics of the eye and face Dr. Stella Chou has a B.S. and M.D. from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Michigan, School of Medicine. She performed an ophthalmology externship at Johns Hopkins and completed a transitional medicine internship at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. She did her ophthalmology residency at the John Moran Eye Center, part of the University Of Utah School Of Medicine. Dr. Chou also has vast training and experience in plastic and aesthetics. She was trained by world renowned ocular plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Anderson and plastic surgeon Dr. Stephen Mulholland on facial aesthetic procedures. Dr. Chou has multiple publications in medical journals and textbooks. Dr. Chou is a well trained and experience surgeon. She is specialized in Ophthalmology and Aesthetics of the eye and face. She covers local hospital emergency departments and InstaCare facilities. Dr. Chou is a board-certified ophthalmologist by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, as well as a member of American Academy of Ophthalmology. As a caring physician and experienced surgeon, she is well liked by her patients and well respected by her peers in the community. Dr. Chou is also an active medical staff member at Alta View Hospital and Salt Lake Regional Hospital.
