About The Provider
Starlene “Star” Rose is a family nurse practitioner, specializing in wound care at Intermountain Medical Center’s Wound and Hyperbaric Clinic in Murray, Utah. She supports patients across the Salt Lake Valley treating venous insufficiency, lymphedema, peripheral arterial disease, and wounds throughout the body. Star has spent the past five years caring for patients with vascular disease and complex wounds. What she enjoys most is working with patients who have underlying vascular conditions, taking time to explain why a wound developed and what steps can help it heal.
As a provider, Sar believes that knowledge is power. She partners closely with patients to help them understand what’s happening in their bodies and how, together, they can support healing.
Her approach to care is grounded in listening. Star believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and truly cared for. She focuses on education, collaboration, and practical guidance so patients feel confident in their care plan.
Originally from a few different places, Star considers Murray, Utah home, where she attended high school. Outside of work, she and her husband, Aaron, stay busy keeping up with their two young boys, who love all sports, especially hockey and cheering on the Utah Mammoth. As a family, they also enjoy traveling whenever they get the chance.
