Stacey Knight, PhD

Stacey Knight, PhD is a Cardiovascular and Genetic Epidemiologist and a Professor of Research at Intermountain Health. Dr. Knight’s research focuses on precision medicine and cardiovascular genetics — integrating genomic, clinical, and biomarker data to improve the prediction, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Her goal is to help deliver more personalized care by identifying risk earlier and guiding targeted strategies that improve cardiovascular health.

Dr. Knight is particularly interested in identifying genetic factors that influence atrial fibrillation, interited cardiomyopathies, familial hypercholesterolemia, and related outcomes. Using large-scale population studies, advanced bioinformatics, and collaborative research networks, she is working to translate genetic discoveries into practical clinical pathways.

Dr. Knight is from Taylorsville, Utah and outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring new places. She loves bringing her family together and creating lasting memories by hosting family dinners.
