About Shelbi Lindsay

About The Provider

Shelbi Lindsay, NP, is a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse practitioner at Utah Valley Neonatology in Orem, Utah and American Fork Neonatology in American Fork, Utah. She cares for newborns and their families in the hospital providing care to high-risk, premature and critically ill newborns. She feels honored to support patients during one of the most critical and meaningful stages of life. She is especially grateful for the opportunity to care for premature and medically fragile infants, celebrating progress one milestone at a time—both big and small.

For Shelbi, caring for families is just as important as caring for babies. She understands that time in the NICU can feel overwhelming and emotional, and she prioritizes clear communication, education, and reassurance so parents feel informed and supported throughout their child’s care. Walking alongside families as they prepare to take their baby home is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.

Shelbi brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her role, recognizing how challenging the NICU experience can be for families. She focuses on honest conversations, consistent care, and evidence‑based medicine, helping parents understand each step of their baby’s journey while ensuring the safest possible care.

Originally from Utah, Shelbi enjoys reading, cooking, playing sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends outside of work
