About The Provider
Shawn is originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. He earned his undergraduate degree from Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After graduation, he worked as an EMT/paramedic and in a cardiac cath lab. During this time, he learned that he loved patient care. Shawn went back to school and earned his master’s in physician assistant studies from the University of Detroit Mercy. As a physician assistant, his clinical interests include virtual care, orthopedics and occupational injuries.

In his off time, Shawn enjoys traveling with family, paddling, hiking and exploring national parks.
