Shandra Sheppard Wilson, MD

Shandra Wilson, MD, is a board-certified urologist serving patients throughout the Denver metro area. A Colorado native (she was born at Lutheran), Dr. Wilson has a strong clinical focus on prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, and men’s health.

Dr. Wilson has a particular interest in robotic-assisted cancer surgery, which she finds both intellectually challenging and deeply rewarding. She also enjoys treating kidney stone disease, appreciating the ability to provide immediate relief for patients in pain. Whether helping a patient achieve a cure for cancer or restoring comfort and quality of life, Dr. Wilson is driven by meaningful, results-oriented care.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Wilson is an active educator and lecturer, presenting to other healthcare providers throughout the United States and Europe each year. She has been recognized for her excellence in patient care as a 5280 Top Doctor.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Wilson is married and has two college-aged children. She enjoys reading, practicing yoga, working on yard projects, and going Bachata dancing with her husband.
