Shahnawaz C. Ijaz, MD

An Oklahoma City native, Dr. Shahnawa Ijaz earned his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship through the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Board-certified, Dr. Ijaz’s clinical interests vary from advanced symptom management, such as cancer-related pain, to goal-oriented care to counseling patients dealing with complex medical decisions.

Dr. Ijaz is excited to join Intermountain Health and explore the Denver area. He enjoys traveling, eating great food, watching movies, and playing video games.
