Sevier Valley Hospital - Mammography

Screening mammograms are performed at this location for patients who have no symptoms or signs of breast cancer and are considered at average risk for breast cancer.  We offer online scheduling for new patients for screening mammograms unless: 

• You are under the age of 40. 

• You have a personal history of breast cancer. 

• You are experiencing nipple discharge or changes, swelling or thickening, or have a lump. 

• You need an interpreter. 

• You need assistance standing or have limited mobility. 

• You have a caretaker who will accompany you to the appointment.

Insurance typically provides coverage for mammogram screenings once every 365 days. It is your responsibility to ensure that the appointment you schedule is eligible to be covered by your insurance.
