Sean M. Udell, MD

Sean Udell, MD is a psychiatrist practicing at Intermountain Health’s Park City Psychiatry and Counseling clinic in Park City, Utah. He supports patients in Park City, Heber City, Kamas, Snyderville, and surrounding communities with a particular interest in geriatric psychiatry, bipolar disorders, substance use disorders, and LGBTQ+ healthcare. He became a psychiatrist because he finds tremendous joy in learning about each person's unique life story.

As your psychiatrist, he will endeavor to understand your core values and life goals and work with you to create a treatment plan that adequately addresses your mental health needs while simultaneously respecting your individuality.

Dr. Udell’s care philosophy is to find the evidence first by using evidence-based therapies to learn more about the patient and their past. He believes in keeping an open mind and creating a judge-free environment so that by the end of a session, his patients feel they can connect with others.

With most of his family here in the Wasatch Back, Dr. Udell feels so lucky to be back in Park City as a year-round community member. When he is not at work, Dr. Udell enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and traveling with his husband, Jonathan, and their two dogs.
