Sean Hamlett, DO

Sean Hamlett, DO, is an endocrinologist at Intermountain Health's McKay-Dee Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic in Ogden, Utah. He supports patients in Ogden, North Ogden, South Weber, and surrounding communities providing comprehensive care for patients with hormonal and metabolic conditions, with a special focus on diabetes management. 

Dr. Hamlett is especially passionate about helping patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes achieve better control and long‑term health. As someone who lives with Type 1 diabetes himself, he brings both clinical expertise and personal understanding to his care. He believes that patients who are well educated about their condition and understand the reasoning behind their treatment are empowered to achieve better outcomes. He emphasizes patient education, shared decision‑making, and healthy lifestyle changes as key parts of every care plan.
His clinical interests include Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and male hypogonadism.

Outside of work, Dr. Hamlett enjoys CrossFit and golfing. He is originally from Missouri.
