About The Provider
Scott Munson is an occupational therapist specializing in hand therapy and is a certified hand therapist at Intermountain Health's Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation in Hurricane and St. George Regional Hospital Rehab Services. He supports patients in Hurricane and St. George, helping them regain function in their upper limbs after an injury, disease, or surgery. He's an American Society of Hand Therapists member and has been practicing for over 18 years. He is also certified in the Graston Technique.
Scott loves treating hand injuries because of the complexity and challenges they present, along with the dramatic increase in someone's well-being when their hand improves. His greatest passion at work is seeing his clients achieve the full function of their upper extremities so they can return to the things they love to do.
Scott grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and proudly embraces his love for the desert. He spent countless summers swimming and competed in the sport from ages 6 to 18.
Outside the clinic, Scott enjoys hiking, walking, and playing the trumpet in a community orchestra. He loves living in southern Utah, where the abundance of outdoor activities makes every day an adventure. He feels fortunate to be in a place with so much natural beauty and opportunity for exploration—especially when he can share those experiences with his wife and five children.
