About The Provider
Dr. Stevens founded and provides clinical care at the Thrombosis services at Intermountain Medical Center's Edwards Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic. This service was established in 2004 and is one of the few clinical services in the state of Utah dedicated to the management of patients with Venous Thrombosis. In addition to on-site care at Intermountain Medical Center, the service offers telehealth consultation across the Intermountain system. He serves as Professor of Medicine for Intermountain and is a founding member of the Thrombosis Research Group. He has authored more than 150 academic publications in the field of thrombosis and anticoagulation and co-chairs the authorship panel for the Evidence-based Antithrombotic Therapy for VTE guidelines for the American College of Chest physicians.
