Sarah R. Slater, NP

Sarah Slater, MS, APRN, FNP-C, specializes in electrophysiology at Intermountain Health’s Utah Valley Cardiology in Provo, Utah. She supports patients in Provo, Orem, Vineyard, Springville, and surrounding communities with clinical interests in cardiac arrhythmias and preventative care.  She finds the most fulfillment treating atrial fibrillation because it requires thoughtful, individualized care. Above all, she is driven by helping people feel better and enhancing their quality of life.

Sara is an experienced cardiac electrophysiology nurse practitioner, focused on diagnosing and managing heart rhythm disorders. She partners closely with patients to help them understand their condition, treatment options, and long-term care plan. She values clear communication, shared decision-making, and compassionate care. Sarah’s goal is to help patients feel heard, informed, and confident in their care.

As a provider, Sarah’s philosophy of care is rooted in compassion. She’s always wanted to work in healthcare since childhood, and believes every patient deserves to be heard, supported, and cared for as a whole person. Sarah is passionate about helping patients feel better and serving as a strong advocate throughout their care journey.

Outside the clinic, the Utah native enjoys spending time with her extraordinary husband, their children, and five dogs (they know they’re outnumbered). She loves exploring the outdoors and through hiking and camping and she considers herself an amateur runner. She also enjoys reading and traveling as much as possible.
