Sarah M. Tweddell, MD

Dr. Sarah Tweddell, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native, is passionate about caring for neonates because of their resilience and adaptability. Seeing a former NICU baby walking around, smiling, and talking is one of the most rewarding things to Dr. Tweddell and brings her so much inspiration. 

Her clinical interests include neonatal hematology and transfusion, necrotizing enterocolitis, breastfeeding, and nutrition. 

As a provider, she's committed to making the NICU experience as normal and peaceful as possible for parents. She understands that most don't plan for their child to spend time in the NICU. She strives to ensure parents can hold their baby as soon as safely possible and have the opportunity to breastfeed if they are interested.
