About Sara Trappett
About The Provider
I earned my Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado and have been an integral part of the St. Mary’s Life Center therapy team for over 10 years. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and am a certified provider of VitalStim therapy, as well as the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) program.
I have received extensive training in Flexible Endoscopic Swallowing Evaluations (FEES), cancer rehabilitation, and tracheoesophageal prosthesis (TEP) management following total laryngectomy. My additional areas of specialty include gender-affirming voice work and cognitive rehabilitation therapy for acute injuries such as TBI or stroke, as well as progressive conditions such as dementia.
I want to always meet my patients where they are and get a deep understanding of the uniqueness of their situation so that we can work together to achieve the things that matter to them most. I am a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist providing care to adult patients with a variety of diagnoses.
