About Sandra Patrick
About The Provider
I received an associate degree from Mesa College, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of New Mexico, and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Colorado State University. I am currently working as a Speech and Language Pathologist in pediatrics, with a special interest in language and articulation. I worked with Dr. Toni Linder on a research and demonstration model program in Denver, Colorado, and am a contributing author to Trans-Disciplinary Play-Based Intervention.
I have worked in a variety of settings, including the medical and educational fields. My experience includes positions at The Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado, Hilltop Rehabilitation, the University of Colorado Graduate Program, and Mesa County Valley School District #51. I was nominated and received an Outstanding Educator Award in 2023 by the D-51 Foundation. My passion lies in working cooperatively with parents and children, particularly in early childhood language and articulation disorders.
I was born on the Eastern Slope and moved to Grand Junction when I was in elementary school. I have lived in New Mexico, Texas, and Norway. I love to travel, read, hike, and spend time with friends and family. I have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.
