Samuel V. Murphy, DPT

Samuel "Sam" Murphy, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at Intermountain Health's Heber Valley Physical Therapy in Heber City, Utah. He is dedicated to helping patients move better, stay active, and maintain their independence. His clinical interests include balance training, fall prevention, orthopedic rehabilitation, arthritis management, total joint replacement recovery, and the treatment of low back pain.

Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in 2011 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2014. In 2024, he became a board-certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist, further strengthening his expertise in helping older adults improve mobility, prevent falls, and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

Sam takes a patient-centered approach to care, working closely with individuals to understand their goals and create personalized treatment plans that support long-term success and improved quality of life.

Sam lives in Heber Valley with his family and enjoys gardening, beach vacations, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with his wife and children.
