Sam Brown, MD is a Professor of Research and Chief Academic and Research Officer at Intermountain Health. Clinically, he focuses on care for patients with life-threatening illness, particularly ARDS and sepsis. Dr. Brown is a clinical trialist and trial methodologist with special interest and expertise in critical illness, and he is particularly committed to work on pragmatic and precision trials.
Dr. Brown obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. His internship and residency training was conducted at Massachusetts General Hospital, and he completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the University of Utah.
Dr. Brown grew up in the Intermountain West, and he loves anything outdoors of any description, especially with family and friends.
