About The Provider

Dr. Matney is originally from Kettle Falls, Washington. She graduated from Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Next, she attended Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Netherlands Antilles where she earned both her medical degree and a master’s in Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Matney completed a family medicine residency at the University of Connecticut. Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Matney spent the first two years of her career in family medicine before switching to urgent care and occupational medicine. Her clinical interests include acute injuries, work or sports-related injuries, fast recovery times and travel medicine.

Dr. Matney comes from a large family and is close with her siblings – three of them even live here in Colorado. When not working she is often riding her horses.
