About Ryan C. Stehr
About The Provider
Dr. Ryan Stehr is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery with added Certification in Hand Surgery. He attended Dartmouth Medical School before completing a plastic surgery residency at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He then continued his training at this Level I Trauma Center where he finished a prestigious hand fellowship.
Dr. Stehr has also completed additional training while participating in several medical missions as a medical student, resident, and fellow. He backpacked through India to provide health services in rural centers and gained valuable experience repairing severe burns, cleft palates, and other genetic abnormalities in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
Dr. Stehr grew up in the Bay Area of California where he developed a love for competitive sailing and exploring the outdoors as an Eagle Scout. He enjoys hiking and taking daily walks with his wife and German Shepherd. Dr. Stehr is an avid traveler, skier, snowboarder, and advanced open water scuba diver.

You need a rating above 'very good'. Excellent would cover it. My medical problem was a messy one and I felt entirely secure and supported by Dr. Stehr's care and communication. When we had a minor set back in recovery-the nurse called him on holiday and he responded immediately. This was so amazing and kind.

Dr. Stehr was very good about explaining my condition and discussing treatment options. He is very knowledgeable and he obviously knows what he is talking about. I thought he did a great job dealing with my visit and I plan to keep him as I move forward with treatment.
