Ryan C. Merson, PA

Ryan is originally from Elkridge, Maryland (near Baltimore). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science followed by a Physician Assistant (PA) Certification and Master of Medical Science from a collaborative program at Anne Arundel Community College and Saint Francis University in Hanover, Maryland. Following his education, Ryan initially worked as a Hospitalist PA in southern Maryland. After two years, he transitioned to working as a Cardiology Physician Assistant at MedStar Medical Group Cardiology in Baltimore, Maryland where he worked for 4 ½ years. An interest in medical science and a complicated medical family history of cardiac disease prompted his interest in medicine and specifically, cardiology.

He believes in partnering alongside his patients to provide evidence-based guidance to assist patients in making informed decisions regarding their care. He has interests in general cardiology. When not at work, Ryan enjoys hiking, skiing and spending time with his family on the east coast.
