Ryan A. Griffin, DPT

Ryan Griffin is a physical therapist specializing in orthopedics at Intermountain Health's Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation at the Alta View Clinic. Serving patients of all ages and abilities in Sandy and nearby communities, he treats a wide range of orthopedic and sports injuries, including those affecting the spine, shoulders, and lower extremities, as well as providing post-operative rehabilitation. Ryan is dedicated to collaborating with each patient to create a personalized program that helps them return to the activities they love.

Ryan's interest in physical therapy began while shadowing various medical providers. He discovered that, as a physical therapist, he could spend more time with patients and connect with them on a personal level to support their recovery journey.

Ryan grew up in Utah and completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University and his doctorate in physical therapy at Rocky Mountain University. He served an LDS mission in Paraguay and speaks Spanish as a second language. Ryan enjoys playing soccer and basketball, running and cycling, and lifting weights. He now lives in Taylorsville with his wife and kids.
