About Ronald B. Henckel
About The Provider
Born and raised in Billings, Montana Dr. Henckel attended medical school at The University of Washington in Seattle and completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiology from The Ohio State University of Columbus and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. After being away from Montana throughout his medical training, returning home became a priority for both Dr. Henckel and his wife (also a Billings resident).
“I want to use the well-established guidelines and recommendations in cardiology to positively impact my patient’s care while simultaneously showing them how we can tailor these to better fit their individual needs.”
Whether deciding on an interventional procedure or conservative management, Dr. Henckel believes it is important to use a team approach. He believes in involving the patient, their family and friends and any other necessary medical professionals.
When not at work, Dr. Henckel can be found spending time with his wife and three children. They are fond of spending time outdoors enjoying all that Montana has to offer – hiking, fishing, tennis and golf.
