Robert J. Mendenhall, DO

Robert Mendenhall, DO, is board certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine and serves as Associate Medical Director for addiction at Intermountain Health, where he has practiced for more than six years. He sees patients at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Clinic and Addiction Medicine Recovery Clinic in Provo, Utah, working with people who are navigating both mental health concerns and addiction, helping them get their lives back, repair relationships, and rediscover purpose and fulfillment.

Dr. Mendenhall partners with physicians across Intermountain to build systems that treat mental health and addiction with evidence-based care, and he is committed to breaking down the stigma and shame that can make these conditions harder to treat.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his six children, playing sports — especially volleyball — and taking advantage of everything the Utah outdoors has to offer.
