Dr. Hurst completed his undergraduate studies at BYU, earning a BS in Exercise Science. He attended Drexel University College of Medicine for his medical degree and completed his internship at Hahnemann University, and his residency at the Mayo Clinic. His clinical interests include providing care in spine, MSK/joints, NCS/EMG, and ultrasound-guided injections. 

Originally from Sunnyvale, California, Richard enjoys listening to music of all kinds. He has a wonderful wife and four wonderful children, and he enjoys spending time with them in their interests, which currently include lacrosse and dance.

    Dr Hurst has been my doctor for allot of years & is extremely helpful. He takes the best notes of any doctor that I have been to......so he always have information to help me.
