Richard Sauque, LCSW

Ricky Sauque is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Psychiatry and Counseling Clinic in Provo, Utah. He believes everyone deserves a place where they feel safe, heard, and supported. He takes a compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered approach to therapy, creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients can build on their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward healing and lasting well-being.

Ricky enjoys working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, supporting those facing mental health concerns, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. His goal is to give clients a safe place to work through the struggles they're facing, reach their therapeutic goals, and ultimately feel better. He is also conversational in Spanish at an intermediate level.

Ricky earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Brigham Young University–Hawaii and his Master of Social Work from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army, discharging at the rank of sergeant (E-5).

Originally from Hawaii, Ricky loves to cook.
