Richard H. Miranda, MD

Dr. Miranda is a Colorado native growing up in Littleton, Colorado. He attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. After this time away, the desire to come back home was too strong, so he returned home in 2002. Dr. Miranda has remained very active in clinical practice and medical education, and joined the Caritas team in 2014. He is interested in providing the optimal care for his patients, with a focus on the medically underserved, and the medically complex patient. He also promotes preventive care for all his patients. He is the Associate Program director of the Internal Residency program at Saint Joseph hospital and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado.

In his spare time, Dr. Miranda enjoys fly-fishing, tennis, and grilling. He is married and has 2 wonderful daughters.
