Richard D. McWhorter, MD, is a urologist at Intermountain Health’s Utah Valley Clinic – Urology in Provo, Utah. Dr. McWhorter’s clinical interests include voiding dysfunction, female pelvic reconstruction, and complicated stone disease. His philosophy of care is centered on helping each patient improve their quality of life through thoughtful, individualized treatment and compassionate care.
Originally raised in the small town of Atlanta, Texas, Dr. McWhorter is the seventh of eight siblings. He returned to Utah seven years ago to be closer to family and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren whenever possible. Outside of work, he also enjoys fly fishing and being outdoors.
