Rhett Thomson, MD

Rhett Thomson, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist at Downtown Clinic - Nephrology in Billings, Montana. He is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a range of clinical settings, including the clinic, hospital, and dialysis center. Dr. Thomson values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and to help them navigate both acute and chronic kidney conditions.

His clinical interests include electrolyte disorders, acute kidney injury, glomerulonephritis, autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD), and long-term management of kidney transplant recipients. He finds great satisfaction in diagnosing and resolving complex medical abnormalities and partnering with patients to manage chronic conditions and improve their overall health and quality of life.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Thomson enjoys exercising, reading, and spending quality time with his wife and three children.
