Reuben C. Lufrano, MD

Dr. Lufrano attended medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and graduated with honors as a member of the American Osteopathic Association. He completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at Tampa General Hospital, one of the oldest and most prestigious trauma fellowships in the country. Dr. Lufrano’s clinical interests center around the treatment of complex skeletal trauma including fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum as well as peri-articular and long bone injuries.

When not working, Dr. Lufrano is an avid runner, skier, and whitewater kayaker. Frequently, he can be found enjoying the slopes and whitewater park or taking advantage of one of the many nearby trails with his family and dogs.
