I was so impressed with her care and knowledge. I look forward to seeing her again for care.

I wanted a blood draw "before" my visit so as to discuss the details of the blood draw report. I have done this for many years with the former FNP. However, I am told that the new NP doesn't do this on the first visit, but will later. On my 2nd visit I was told the same thing. So apparently a patient cannot have a blood draw before any visit. I am told I will receive a detailed report of the results of the blood draw after my visit, but a "detailed" report does not make it easy to ask follow-up questions. It will now involve going back and forth and back and forth by texting to discuss the results and get all of my questions answered, which will now take longer and is more work for both parties. Why it cannot be done before is beyond me. It leaves much less to talk about during the visit and any questions I might have such as, "Should I lower my B12 intake?" cannot be answered AT the visit because there has been no blood draw before the visit.

Just getting to know her but she listened and ordered tests I needed.
